Scrappy Do Excavating Inc is an S Corporation that began operations in this entity type during 2023.  Mike Samson is the President. He does not currently have bookkeeping software. He recently purchased computer equipment to run the administrative functions for the corporation.

Immediate needs were basic computer operating assistance and to revamp his customer invoice (which would be from an accounting software system).

Today we went over basic computer functionality:

1. Difference between Chrome and the computer.
2. Computer file structure.
3. How to scan documents and locate them on his PC.

1. How to attach scanned documents to an email.
2. How to add file folders and how that structure looks on his PC.
3. How to rename scanned documents, cut and paste them to a folder.

Had him perform scanning and attaching documents to email so that he was familiar with this operation. Then emailed him a “how-to” instructional sheet as he requested.

Discussed cost of Quickbooks and WAV as he also needs a bookkeeping system for his S Corp.   Reviewed his 2023 S Corp taxes to determine what type of income and expense accounts would be required.

Discussed his current invoicing template which is in word. He would like a more professional looking document that is easier to utilize. 

Plan is to set-up WAV accounting and a template. Mike will send me the Logo file to incorporate into his invoices.
